we are learning to create our own images in google draw we had to make a monster. we listened to what the poem said and then make it. we had to make a monster with 6 legs & with 3 toes on each foot we had to make a yellow spine and yellow teeth and it had to be bigger than a tree

scams and phishing

we are learning how to identify scams and phishing emails when on the internet.you will learn what to look out for,and also what to do when you are unsure we had to think witch one was fake and witch one was legit

Empowerment.

we are learning what to do when we recieve an email or comment that: we dont like is not positive,thoughtfull,helpful makes us feel sad or uncomfortable we had to put someone we trust in and then add a photo of yourself.

In Room 4 we have been learning about media and how you can use it .

In Room 4 we have been learning about different types of media. We have been learning about media for Cybersmart.      

I think learning about media was good, I enjoyed making a poster about what media is.

In Room Four we have been learning to write quality blog comments. I learnt that quality blog comments need to be positive, thoughtful and helpful. We watched previous Manaiakalani Film Festival entries and made notes about them. We turned these notes into quality blog comments. We practised making quality blog comments on different school blogs. 

We made a DLO which had comments about different aspects of films that we watched. You can read those comments on the slide that is embedded below:
